Jackie came to Michigan Radio as a temporary employee in May 2009. Having worked in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, and though her background is not in public media, she finds her position to be challenging and interesting.
Jackie runs our successful sustaining membership program and also handles most of the customer service calls and emails that come into the station. Every day is different. Alison joined Michigan Radio in 2014 and works as the Associate Director of Development. Although she doesn’t have a background in radio, she grew up listening to the station.

Her reporting at the station runs the gamut, from the wrongful conviction of a 14-year-old boy in a quadruple homicide, to refugees building new lives in this state, to how swing voters helped Donald Trump turn Michigan red.
