Rebecca is a junior English and History major and Jewish Studies minor at Williams College in Massachusetts. She is an executive editor at The Williams Record and recently started the Record’s first podcast, Press Record, covering local news and features stories. When not behind the microphone for radio, she spends her time behind a very different type of microphone as a coxswain on the Williams crew team.
Bella is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan currently working as a digital media intern for Stateside. While in school, she started her own blog, produced a podcast series alongside her senior thesis on the intersection of women’s health and environmental quality, and worked as a host and producer of “It’s Hot In Here” on WCBN-FM. Alison joined Michigan Radio in 2014 and works as the Associate Director of Development. Although she doesn’t have a background in radio, she grew up listening to the station.
Alison oversees Michigan Radio’s Membership program including membership drives, where she combines her passion for philanthropy and Michigan Radio. She enjoys sharing her passion for all things Michigan Radio with listeners and members.
Peggy J. Watson began her career at Michigan Radio in 1983 as a Production Assistant after graduating from Western Michigan University. At that time, Michigan Radio was primarily a classical music station.
Kate Wells has been a reporter at Michigan Radio since 2012. Her reporting at the station runs the gamut, from the wrongful conviction of a 14-year-old boy in a quadruple homicide, to refugees building new lives in this state, to how swing voters helped Donald Trump turn Michigan red.
